Core Programs

Lighthouse Hope Center provides mental health services, adult special needs care, and medical transportation for underserved families across Illinois — rooted in faith, driven by community.

Mental Health

Licensed counseling and peer support for individuals and families — culturally competent and faith-informed.

Special Needs Care

Adult day programs, skill-building, and care coordination for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Medical Transport

Wheelchair-accessible transportation to appointments, therapy, & community programs for those who need it most.

Caregiver Support

Respite care, support groups, and resources for the families and caregivers who give everything every day.

WHAT WE OFFER

Programs Built Around Your Family's Needs

Every program at Lighthouse Hope Center was created in direct response to real gaps our community told us about. We meet you where you are.

Mental Health Support

Accessible, culturally competent mental health support designed for African American families and underserved communities facing the daily weight of stress, grief, caregiving, and systemic challenges.

Adult Special Needs Care

Structured, caring day programming for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities — focused on independence, community connection, and dignity.

Medical Transportation

We remove transportation as a barrier to care. Our wheelchair-accessible vehicles get community members to and from the medical appointments, therapy sessions, and programs they depend on.

Facility & Community Hub

Our facility serves as a community anchor — hosting programs, support groups, health fairs, and events that bring neighbors together and connect families to the resources they need.
